That was the Daily Prophet headline on August 23rd 1976 and no witch or wizard will ever forget where they were when they heard the news. The wizarding world had been slowly plunging into dark chaos but that day was the turning point. The Dark Side was winning. Resistance group The Order of the Phoenix is battling on to try and defeat the ever growing in power, Lord Voldemort. The Minister for Magic is in hiding as the ministry fights to for its political life and it is quite clear that there no longer is the threat of war: this is war. Inside Hogwarts, tensions are running thick. House rivalries are becoming harsher as the divide between purebloods and muggleborns becomes ever greater as there are more and more attacks every day both inside and outside of the school.
Trust no one. Stay safe. But the truth is, nobody can Live Forever.
