HYSION

This ancient pack has roamed Hallion Forest for centuries, passing down traditions and living peaceful lives throughout time. They are all-inclusive, consisting of a mixture of all three types of wolves that roam the land. While they are family, they also accept newcomers who have departed from their own family groups, and even those from far away places. They have a Matriarchal hierarchy where traditionally females have been Alpha, and when she births pups, each female is an Heir. They believe that Eyva, being the Goddess of life, placed females into a position of authority, whereas her creation Faron, a male, was meant to serve the pack dutifully. Males are still highly respected and appreciated in Hysion despite this; the pack believes that all members contribute to the betterment of the clan as a whole, and so males have been known to hold high-ranking positions. However one has not been Alpha for several hundred years, after a strange time when the Alpha's heirs slowly passed away until only a male heir was left. Hysion bears Seers in their litters every few years, making their faith in Eyva and their fate through wyrd very strong. The current Alpha of Hysion is Ambriel.

ANTIOSE

This pack consists solely of Dire Wolves, a titanic breed of wolf that have ancient bloodlines flowing back hundreds of millennium to the loins of Faron himself. While most Dire Wolves have this common ancestor, the lines have been so muddled by the mixing between species that it is impossible to say today's Dires are related to each other at all. Antiose Pack makes their home on the plains, where they have become bitter from enduring harsh winters and the winds that come with them. Large prey prefers Hallion Forest, and the Dire wolves must often make a long trek into unclaimed areas of Hallion to hunt. The rabbits of the plains rarely satiate their hunger, and after hundreds of years suffering the bare landscape, they are ambitious to move into more profitable territory. Antiose does not share the faith that Hysion does; rather, they are a traditional hierarchy of Male and Female Alphas, and have not had Seers in their lines for hundreds of years, making their belief in wyrd weak. Those who speak of it are often shunned because it is believed to be myth. However some still worship Eyva. The current Alpha of Antiose is Anamika.
