What is Wyrd? What a weird word! Wyrd is an Old English word that describes a complex form of Fate. See our plot for a detailed definition.

What are your ratings? The site is PG-13, "literate+", and has a word minimum of 200.

Do you allow other canines? The site is wolf-only, however you may purchase a fox as a companion. There are no dogs.

What kind of odd attributes do you allow? See our Species thread. Our wolves can have any "natural" eye color, including blue. However we don't allow neon colors, wings, extra tails, horns, or powers.

Where's the setting? There is no official setting for Wyrd. Suppose that we are set in a made-up land.

How long do seasons last? Seasons will last for two months each, and will generally switch over on the 1st of the next month.

Can the species of wolves be crossed? Sure! If your Dire Wolf character wants to have a Mountain Wolf as their mate, you're free to do that.

Is there liquid time? Yes! Wyrd observes liquid time, meaning your character can be in multiple threads at a time.

Can we use posting templates? Absolutely! Just make sure they are a max of 500px wide so as not to stretch the board.

What if the Fate account does something in my thread I don't want? Fate only suggests things that can happen. For instance, if she appears and says (Character) stumbles upon a snake. It's primed to strike! You have the option of jumping out of the way and then continuing on with your business. Fate will never bring direct injury to your character, since you haven't approved it. Likewise if she suggests so-and-so could be your character's mate because they seem like a good match or they both subconsciously like each other, you aren't obligated to make those characters mates. It's all in good fun! Fate merely intervenes to shake things up and make things interesting.

Can I make a new Pack? In time, Wyrd will allow other packs to form. Whenever we begin to allow this, there will be an announcement and you can audition your pack idea and the Staff will decide which ideas are best.
